Ellen Jackson wrote the funniest spot-on feminist version of a cinderella story, called Cinder-Edna. She was well ahead of her time when editors rejected it. Once published, it’s still her strongest selling book to date.
Adding it to my library list! Looks like a good one to read to the boys. 🙂
